Menessah Mullett - Owner, Art Therapist

Menessah Mullett, LPC, CYC-P, LMHC, ATR holds her Master's in Counseling Psychology specializing in Art Therapy from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. She is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Indiana as well as a licensed professional counselor for the state of Colorado. She holds a professional child youth certificate for the state of Indiana and is registered as a national art therapist. Menessah has nearly 20 years of experience working with families, youth, and adults in the non profit, government, and private sectors. She believes in using the power of art therapy and faith to guide her work with clients where she specializes in working with females ages 15 years and older who suffer from trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health and women's issues. Her eclectic and integrative approach uses tools that are cognitive, faith-based, creative, and strengths-based in practice. She believes that not one modality can work for every one person and therefore uses a collaborative approach with the client in problem-solving their work together.
(Art-making is used as an integrated approach to therapy, it combines art and psychology and is the process of using images to help express feelings and provide healing. Guided by a trained Art Therapist, Art Therapy can be wonderful tool for reducing depression, anxiety, and stress and is found to be helpful when other forms of therapy are not successful. No prior skills required.)
